Taboga Kitesurfing proudly opened its doors in November 2009 to the public after existing as an independent boutique hotel for 3 years. During this time we studied the wind and sea and, being kiters, concluded that the conditions were ideal to create a school and teach this awesome extreme sport! The beach and sea are hazard free so don’t worry about rocks, boats or over crowded beaches.
The team at Taboga are all about kitesurfing! The managers are kiters, the waiters and gardeners are taking lessons and everyone loves the sport being an integral part of their project.

Wake up with the spectacular sunrise then enjoy a delicious breakfast while gazing at the emerald sea. Inflate your kite on the grass lawn and launch it on the empty beach. After a great session you can rinse your gear with fresh water then wind down in the pool with a strawberry daikiri, eat local seafood in the palapa bar and end your day with a relaxing massage.

or just simply relax and enjoy the beach and its peaceful surroundings.
Costa Esmeralda is a quiet beach zone located on the tranquil shores of the Gulf of Mexico.
The local trade is made up of agriculture (citrus fruit), fishing and tourism. Inland you can find banana, orange, lime and grapefruit ranches. |
